Barry Jacobson

Barry founded Solar Impact with his wife, Elaine, in 2007. He has more than 15 years of experience in designing and installing solar equipment. He has a Ph.D. in Engineering and is a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer and Solar Contractor. He holds an energy professional certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. Barry is experienced in designing and installing solar electric and hot water systems. He has been the subject matter expert on solar for numerous studies and projects. He frequently gives presentations on solar to professionals, students, and general interest groups.
