If you are looking for ways to celebrate Earth Day from while social distancing, we are here to help.

Solar Impact is committed to responsible environmental stewardship. Every day is Earth Day for our solar champions. Now is a great time to think about reducing the impact of climate change in our community. Our customers are voices for reducing carbon emissions in the community for our earth. As we continue to physically and socially distance ourselves, we can still celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.

Florida Museum Virtual Earth Day Celebration

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day at the Florida Museum of Natural History and beyond. This daylong event features activities at the Florida Museum and around Gainesville. Meet experts in the field, take part in excursions and learn what can be done to make a difference. For more information and a list of activities, visit www.floridamuseum.ufl.edu/event/earth-day.

Get outside!

Celebrate the beauty of our planet by taking your family for a walk, bike ride, or just an hour or two in the sun  (just be sure to physically distance yourself.) The University of Florida is offering online guidance on how to start your own backyard garden. Being at home provides the perfect time to get started on sustainable projects around the house and to get outside.

Take a virtual tour of our national parks with Google Earth

Google Earth is offering virtual tours of some of the world's most incredible national parks to provide an escape for people during social distancing. While following government guidelines to stay at home and help stop the spread of coronavirus COVID-19, we can be mentally whisked-away to inspiring destinations on the other side of the planet.
