Going solar is a great way to reduce your impact on our climate and lower your carbon footprint. We at Solar Impact like to take this a step further by donating trees to Alachua Conservation Trust for every single solar installation that we do. Solar Impact is proud to donate 500 trees for every residential solar project completed and 1,000 trees for every commercial project completed. We celebrate this donation with Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) and Swamp Head Brewery every year at Tree Fest

Tree Fest

Solar Impact developed a program to donate trees to support Alachua Conservation Trust by funding the planting of trees in the Little Orange Creek Preserve in Hawthorne. The same year, Solar Impact was helping make Swamp Head a solar-powered brewery, we discovered that we were both supporters of ACT and started Tree Fest, which was hosted at Swamp Head Brewery.

Since 2015, we are proud to have donated more than 200,000 trees. This year’s Tree Fest was scheduled for April 11, 2020, but has been postponed due to COVID-19.
