Job Summary:

We are looking to add a Commercial Solar Installer to our passionate and experienced Operations team. Ideal candidates for this role will have previous construction and/or electrical experience. Primary job duties include: safe and efficient solar PV installation, constantly maintain a clean and organized work environment, and communicate with customers in a positive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • All team members must maintain a safe work environment, and will be expected to follow Solar Impact and OSHA required safety protocols at all times
  • Work with a team of fellow installers assembling all components related to a solar installation. Including; job prep, roof layout, racking and attachment installation, wiring and conduit assembly
  • Organization of tools and parts on installation vehicle and in warehouse will be crucial to the success of this role
  • Participate in online and in person trainings related to safety and solar installation
  • Must show up on time and ready to work each day
  • Communicate regularly with team members to ensure projects are moving along safely, quickly, and efficiently
  • Review projects post install to determine areas for efficiency improvement
  • Ensure highest quality of final work product
  • Night and weekend availability occasionally required to meet project needs
  • Multi-day and overnight travel to local and regional jobsites is to be expected


  • Must be an excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Must be comfortable climbing ladders plus standing and working on rooftops
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Highly motivated to excel in job role & have a passion for the solar industry 
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and be insurable to drive company vehicles
  • Ability to manage a high volume of tasks concurrently
  • A valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation are required
  • Work well in a team environment where collaboration and feedback are encouraged
